Starmer is toast

You know my position by now, we have been adamant that Starmer will not lead Labour into the Next General Election, and trust me he wont. The question now is does he go in 2026? Its that serious for him. A few bets we recommended over the last few months were the (5/1 2026 Badenoch/Starmer Exit Double) (5/1 Starmer 2026 Exit) (13/10 Both leaders NOT to lead their parties into the Next GE) (5/4 Starmer to NOT be PM at Next GE) and highlighted plenty of Labour successors for Next PM with the prediction of him going.

All markets above are still available, but all have significanty shortened and rightly so. But honestly I think they all have a strong chance of collapsing from now on until back end of May. Looking at the current prices I wouldn’t have them any bigger. Its been an absolute disaster for Labour so far and I cant see things improving, especially under Starmer.

My prediction is that the current best prices on the below markets will not drift, I think those are here to stay and with the strong likeliness of them shortening. I will highlight some later that I think are currently worth playing.

1. (2026 Exit Date Starmer/Badenoch Double) 7/2 @williamhill

2. (2026 Exit Date Starmer) 11/8 @starsports

3. (Both NOT to lead their parties into the Next GE) 7/10 @starsports @williamhill

4. (Starmer to NOT be PM at Next GE) 1/2 @starsports @betvictor

We also did a blog last week called “Next Prime Minister” make sure to take a look at that piece under Weekly Review, we touch on many names and why its the best market out there for punters.

Starmer is moving further left, we heard this at conference and we continue to hear it. Expect more of this, its all about suring up his position exclusively to base/members with the likelihood of a challenge around the corner (palestine recognition) (two-child benefit) (brexit) and (attacks on farage). The reality is that Starmer and Downing St recognise that Starmer is coming to the end of his premiership, both the left flank and red wall are completely collapsing. They are on 15% and that’s their last core left in the middle. Starmer understands whats happening and he knows cabinet are preparing to move against him along with Labour MPs. His political project is unravelling and crumbling around him, I think that was his last conference speech as Labour leader, similar to Badenoch the Labour MPs and cabinet are waiting for the local elections next year. This is when Labour MPs will move against him.

Worth noting that Rayner is doing a resignation speech next week in Parliament, comes off the back of many cabinet members praising and calling her name out at conference. I wouldn’t totally rule out her making a return to cabinet, and if she does she’s incredibly popular with Labour members. We highlighted her for Next PM early doors at 20/1, she was backed into 6/1, after her scandal she went out to 33/1. This was an overreaction, still available with @betfred.

My prediction is that Starmer is gone in 2026 and the Next Prime Minister will be a Labour MP.
