The Christmas Tip
Whilst we are not far away now from Santa arriving at our doors, I have come across a bet I think is worthwhile to add to the presents that we are getting delivered this year, most likely the big presents will arrive in 2026. Fingers crossed but its looking very good!
We haven’t really covered the Chancellor much over the last few months so I have been getting ready for her expected downfall, its going to happen but when? 2025 is too soon and I think she will be gone by spring 2026. So I was very surprised to see the EVS on offer for her with @williamhill to exit in 2026, I think its a great price, 10/11 is next best with @ladbrokes. Honestly id have her more 1/2 here and I wouldn’t like to lay it, don’t forget Starmer is now EVS to go next year, and she will either go before him or at the same time.
BACK Rachel Reeves Exit Date 2026 @ EVS.
Also worth looking at the Next Chancellor market too, get an early start on it. I will do a piece on this another time but at the current prices I like both Darren Jones (7/1) @ladbrokes and Wes Streeting (14/1) @starsportsbet, both against the field pays around 4/1. Its important to note that the bond markets and the rest will only contemplate a next chancellor that is more aligned with the right of the party or who is deemed to be fiscally responsible, this narrows the field down.
“Starmer is toast” blog can still be viewed and has been a success, strong predictions are now coming about. All markets involving Starmer have shortened and some significantly, the names we have for Next PM continue to shorten. We expect Burnham to keep drifting and Farage will be on his way next, firms are very reluctant but the sooner we get into next year I can see him probably at 7.0+ on the @betfairexchange. Its worth exploring the opportunity to just LAY him in this market rather than looking for the Next Prime Minister.
Further prediction before the year ends — There will be no odds against left for Starmer 2026 Exit Date, 6/5 is best currently with some firms now going EVS.
